SATechNews has adopted a 'pay for play' philosophy, that is, the advertiser pays a low base rate and then we bill based on number of actual impressions the ad receives. We feel this rate model gives the advertiser the best value when compared to traditional advertising models which do not factor in the actual number of times an add is actually seen (like news and paper publications for example).

     SATechNews does allow for exclusive and/or rotating ad schedule. A rotating schedule will show one of the ads in the rotation for each page request; your ad would appear to 1 out of every 5 visitors the page. The advertiser may opt to purchase all of the rotations for a particular page, our home page is excluded from this package. We also have limited ad positions available in the right column, these ads do not rotate and there is limited space in this area.

     The most exciting of the advertising options offered by SATechNews is the 'popup prize' page. There is no charge to the advertiser - simply provide any number of prizes (minimum $50 value). During the month we will randomly display a prize page that pops up on the users screen. The advertiser will be prominently displayed on this page as well as on an information page about our prize giveaways and past winners. Links will be provided to the advertisers website on both the prize popup and the giveaway details pages.

     Please Note: Advertisers are expected to provide their own graphics, if you need an ad graphic SATechNews can create the graphic for you, there is a fee for this service. All graphics must conform to the size limitations detailed on page 2 of this document. All advertisements must be in either gif or jpeg format with a maximum of 100 dpi resolution.

     Concerning Content: While anyone with Internet access can create an account and submit to our website, all stories, press releases and events posted on the SATechNews website are reviewed for content prior to being enabled for public viewing. All advertising is also subject to review by one of our editors. We do this to protect not only those who visit our site, but to ensure the quality of content associated with your advertising, if you have any questions about our policies in this regard please contact us for clarification.
